In the NHL at least, the overhead camera view is supposed to have the official game clock embedded and it should be pretty clear-cut. For that goal to count, obviously, that's not the case here.
The horn and green light should also be automatically synced and the horn didn't sound until after the puck was well across the line. That one angle they showed where you could see the green light was inconclusive as to exactly where the puck was when it turned on.

I haven’t watched him much but Zary’s skating looks choppy.

So TSN says their clock is right and the IIHF’s is not? Weird, but if close calls always come down to the IIHF, what does it matter - it is de facto the correct clock. Finish the play.

Zary is a crafty player and Pelletier moves quite well and is energetic.

It's probably the weakest part of his game.

Zary may be the 13th forward at this point as it looks like Mercer has moved up.

Yeah, Mercer is having a night and Zary appears to have lost his spot on that 4th line

I’m not even sure if Zary is on the bench this period?

This game needs a mercy rule. Germany seems to have one player who's any real use.

Does anyone got a read on the head coach for Canada, does he like to mix up the lines or once he has them set it don’t change much? Just curious if we will bring seeing much of Zary after this game?
Edit: just seen Zary as I posted.
