So much for wanting to win.

Hall was a big fan of Ralph Krueger in Edmonton. That’s the only reason I think he would ever consider Buffalo.

Probably sees 2020-21 season as a wash with COVID. Wait for some more desirable teams to make cap room over the season and sign a big deal next summer.

It's truly terrible effort by his agent. If he has another season like the last two, his long-term value absolutely plummets.

It's going to be funny if he has a worse statistical year costing him millions in the next contract.

Give it a rest, if he wanted to be a Flames, he would be here. Stop this non sense
The only thing one can argue is maybe he wants to be a Kraken

Pretty weird choice.. Buffalo doesn't look like they are winning any time soon. Lots of missing pieces there.
Will be fun to see how he does playing with Eichel now though. I guess we can throw cold water on the whole "Eichel isn't happy and is demanding a trade" speculation.
Well, now I wonder what the Flames are going to do. I can't really tell if they are finished or if they are going to be making trades.

If I was UFA and this was my worry, I'd sign the biggest, longest deal I could find.

Calgary doesn't have the cap space to sign him right now!

He probably thinks he will have better offers from more teams once the cap situation gets resolved.
Meanwhile he gets to forget about playing defence, and fill the net with Eichel.

Yeah but would you want to be saddled with a long term deal in Buffalo for the remainder of your career?
Seems like the suitors he wanted to play for had cap issues which would make it harder to come to a deal.

Pretty obvious Hall didn't land in the place he wanted to if he signs a 1 year contract.

And, can be traded at the deadline to a contender.

Some nice assists to Buffalo at the trade deadline and allows the team that gets him (ransom) to sign for 8 years.

I simply wouldn't choose Buffalo because I know I have massive offers from half a dozen other teams
