Surprisingly, I think Stone has been one of our best players so far in this game.

I imagine the Avs are very content letting the Flames ring it around the boards in both ends.

I tuned in after the 1-0 goal but it’s been all flames since.

They’ve got some more hop than usual.

Flames will score a goal and break the drought at precisely 16:38 of the 2nd period.

LOL they just showed a Clunk Wilm highlight on the Jumbotron here at the Dome.

Basically a microcosm of this game

That goal looked like a lazy backcheck by Gaudreau to me. Gio and Andersson had the 2 on 2 with MacKinnon and Makar, and Gaudreau was tracking Burakovsky, then for whatever reason just bailed while the Avs still had the puck.

Better view 9f MacKinnon blowing by him

See? Zac gets it, why doesn't the rest of the team get it?

I love the way he speaks and thinks the game. He's a junk player, but he knows what to do to win and he gets the big picture.

I’d seriously like to know what the hell happened to this team during the all star break last season. It’s like two completely different team before all star break and after all star break!!

Zone entries up the middle of the ice look effortless for the Avs.

Yeah I could really see him being a good assistant coach. Bit of a hardass but he seems like he'd be a good motivator.

I'd take 1 Rinaldo over 10 Jankowski's. Hopefully Rinaldo gets a serious chance with the big club

That was a good hard shift from Stone, he's at his best when he plays like that.

Typical Flames this season. Control possession on offense but can't generate quality chances while the only shots generated by the opponent are Grade A changes.
