Give me a break. I didn't call for that switch but you need to be kidding me if you think anyone saw 4 points from Frolik tonight.
I'm not sure we would've seen 4 points all season from Lazar. Frolik has his lulls but he has now had two 3-point nights this season. He's not an ideal top-six option but he's far better than Lazar.

Thank you boys. After the day I've had with my dog, a Flames win helps a bunch. She's currently back home but will have to go back tomorrow.
I sincerely want to thank everyone for the well wishes and Thanks. Means a lot. We're a weird family on this forum...but we're still family. Thank you all again.

Frolik is also a playoff vet with a ring.
He will be an important part of any post season success the Flames have.
Also very likely his last season as a Flame.
Thanks to Subban. The gift of a 2nd goal was massive. No way that goes in on MAF.
That doesn’t go in and in may turn out like the other Flames games recently, playing well but losing. People here are saying a bad stretch of 10 mins other then that, if they lost it would be flipped to say the Flames only had 10 mins of dominance.
I missed most of the game, but what was up with Gaudreau and Monahan? Gaudreau had 9 shots but no points. Was he robbed, or were some of his shots low percentage opportunities? Was he trying to set people up, or just shooting?
Monahan had zero shots and no points. Is he getting opportunities and just not able to shoot?

One of the things that pisses me off most about Sportsnet is the lack of dedicated postgame coverage to our specific game.
Thankfully the Flames themselves have picked up the slack with Parker and Sutter doing it normally (Alanna Nolan and Torie Peterson tonight).
Meanwhile the Vegas broadcast is still doing a post game show, they have Tanguay on dissecting all aspects of the game right now. SNET is such a disappointment in every category, outside of the Flames broadcast selections IMO.
