Makes sense though. They played the Jets well, but lost. They didn't play us well, but their goalie had them up 5-3 with 1:09 left. The collapse here resulted in that team completely quitting and looking feeble against both Edmonton and Vancouver.
It's quite possible that Fletcher decided to fire Hakstol after our game, but given they were in the middle of a three in four stretch on the road, held off on making his plans known until the team returned to Philly.
Or, as it turned out, until the team's plane took off from Vancouver. The leak yesterday happened while the Flyers were in the air.
