Truly pathetic final 40 minutes. This game summed up everything wrong with this season
-flames crumble when facing adversity
-failure to adjust to game plan of opposition, VGK started skating us and pressuring more in second period and voila.
-poor utilization of players
-mental errors (caused by still needing to think through GGs system despite being 154 regular season games in the system
-boring attack
Onthe plus side they seem to have stopped missing the net but have replaced that with peppering the goalie in the crest

That averages out to almost every second game. Amazing.

I wish everyone would look at all these shots per game differently. Most of these are just shots at the goalies and not real goal scoring shots. We dont have that guy or guys that go out and challenge the goalies to the point of making great saves all night. Look at the earlier game 50 shots and nothing much came out of it. We need a Laine type guy or 2 to fix scoring. I have no idea where to find him or what we need to trade to get 1 or 2 we need to find them.
