Has anyone done a gif of whoever it was who decided to cut short mcdavid's complaining and embellishing with that hit?

Wooo! We win! Avoided the game thread like the plague. Gonna start doing this more often!

I can't believe Sportsnet didn't give Smith first star!

I am so thankful the Oilers signed Lucic to that massive contract. What an anchor that guy is.

If I see one negative comment on here tonight you're getting blocked.

Wow what a fun game to watch.

I am glad to see that the lady from Edmonton that I spoke to in the liquor was correct when she said Edmonton would lose to Calgary tonight as they are playing poorly.

Stajan Brouwer Hamonic Smith and Gio. Warrior like performances.
Stajan with that blocked shot and giving the business to McDavid and Tenderness. Beautiful.

Refs let them play except for the ticky tack call at end, then not calling play on Brouwer.
That’s 4-1 with Rittich in there but the team finally, finally, finally beat the Oilers.

Johnny is bringing it when needed here... Goals on 5 straight now?

Smith as well, what a great bounceback game after a forgettable first period last game.

Giordano and Frolik both with solid plays against McDavid.

Great effort all around, no passengers tonight.

Please, no negativity, bitching or whining from the usuals.... Just give the rest of us one night at least.

Mike Smith is going to drag this team kicking and screaming into the playoffs, mark my words.

I thought the Flames played a pretty solid game, especially considering we basically iced an AHL-caliber bottom 6 tonight. That was a full 60 minute effort tonight. Wish we could have had some more puck luck, but whatever. We got the 2 points and our playoff hopes are still alive.

Players like Hamonic show their worth in a game like this.
