Totally. You should have to throw a flag or something within 10 seconds. Letting the play continue for 30 seconds and then reviewing it is straight up ######ed.

That’s what I’ve been saying since the rule came in. If goal is scored within that 10 seconds, you can challenge after the goal is scored. If goal is scored more than 10 seconds after crossing the blue line, it can only be reviewed if the team triggered a challenge with something like a flag within 10 seconds from the crossing of the line. If you trigger the challenge, the play will be reviewed at the next stoppage whether a goal is scored or not, and a incorrect challenge gives a penalty for delay of game.
