I don't know why but I can't get myself to care about this loss. 6-0 flattered the Sens, was more like a 2-0 game with one of those goals being an empty netter.

I also think the lineup needs to be a little more consistent and let the players build some chemistry together.

They did a lot of right things this game. Just take all of the suck and bad discipline (and hopefully the bad reffing) and throw it away and go into Van

I did find it amusing when Brouwer took that face off after the face off violation penalty. Had his stick in the dot and was standing 4 feet away.

I think that the NHL needs to figure the face offs out. It would not surprise me if over half the face offs in the game has a person thrown out. Feels like it added 10-15 minutes to the game. As a fan I can't figure it out. It seems so random.

Oh well, burn the tape and be glad those points were gifted to the eastern conference.

At the game tonight, did anyone else feel like the dome was extra congested? It took forever to get through the concourse. Did they add more crap that bottlenecks people into one area?

Lazar might get A for effort out there but he has the hockey sense of bag of rocks. Time to stop trying to find him a place to fit in, and accept that was a waste of a second round pick.

Seemed a crappy as usual. That said, Friday games tend to be a little worse as poor ole seem to roll in a lot closer to the game all at the same time with a belly full of post-work drinks.

Guy has what? 4 points in 7 games played?

Maybe you should a bit more patience?

Was at the game and the flames looked like they were a little too cute with the puck skating around looking for the perfect seem pass then cycling into oblivion with nothing to show for it. Jager looked good great hands but still a bit out of game shape. Bennet should be tried on the wing. We need a real first line RW Lazar didn’t look good Ferland isn’t the answer either. Team is too passive on the PK.

Since this is the airing of grievances, the first unit PP needs to find the form they had late last year. I can see that they move themselves and the puck around quite well but they aren't generating the dangerous look or the rebound with multiple chances.

The second unit usually looks more dangerous. I'd like to see Gulutzan give the 2nd unit more chances to start when this is happening.

Overall it was a bad game and they just need to learn and move on.

I just don't get how there fine with every line combination possible, seems like there fine with scoring zero goals. But still yet refuse to put Bennett on the top RW.. Just do it already. Put Janko to 3c and let the rest sort itself out.

Yep. In limited games Lazar has shown his was more than worth the draft pick. He may not be a first line player but he is fast and hard working with potential and it is far too soon to give up on him.

That god that debacle is over. Just rebound the next one. That's all I really have to say. It's still early and we've been really good over the past few games for me to get super upset.

I'm not saying he isnt a serviceable player, but It's obvious he is not a top 6 player, and never will be. Stop trying to force it. Allow the top two lines to get chemistry instead of shuffling it up For Lazar.

There was no push back in the Flames tonight. Between undisciplined penalties and costly turnovers this has to rate as thier worst effort of the season.

You can't keep relying on Smith to cover up for your mistakes. We have to be better in our own end and focus more on the defensive side of the game.

Jagr seemed to be the only player that had any jump in his game. The rest showed up for a skate and that's it.

It's time to start considering that Sam Bennett isn't very good.

Jagr isn't the fastest player on the ice by any stretch, but he had no problem keeping up with the play at all tonight in my opinion. Definitely
Not the slowest player on the ice.

Kid needs a break. Made a nice play behind the net to set up Jagr and he shot it right into Anderson.

If that goal goes in, changes everything for everyone.

Also had a nice setup earlier in the period to Versteeg.

That's two nice setups.

I have some questions too about Bennett, but if those two plays result in goals, things are very different.

Im on board with putting Tkachuk on the 1st line RW spot. I get that that a lot of people think you should be able to plug a guy in that spot and Johnny and Mony should be able to carry them but lets get an actual top line out there. Backlund and Frolik can carry a second line with someone plugged in there.

The score did not represent the game. The Flames owned the first 2 periods and should have been up 2 or 3. They were not and that sucked.

Play that way (minus penalties) every night and this team is high up the standings
