I think we saw Janko with Bennett on the wing to see what it looked like in the absence of a better option for a winger on the 3rd line - but with Jagr in the fold, Bennett + Versteeg already looked good and Jagr just rounds that line out nicely.

With the exchange rate, you only need to sell ~7,000 Jagr Adidas jerseys to cover the cost of the contract plus all incentives. Do it!

Jagr may be a shadow of the player that he was in his prime but hopefully they can count on him to pot a few extra goals when they need them. Not too many more clutch players than this guy.

After looking at these mock line ups one thing is clear. The Flames finally have options for their Forwards. Their are a lot of possible combinations which is nice to see. Everyone is saying that it is a 3 line league these days, this looks like a three line team.

I do think one of Stajan and/or Brouwer need to go. I could see a deal being done with the pens or the leafs for Rychel....or I'd like to see one of those deals.

With all the excitement of the preseason, it completely slipped my mind that a Calgary Flame will set the record for the most ever games played in the NHL this season.

I assume the Bonus structure is like play 20 games. They just put it as a Bonus so they have a little more cap flexibility at the deadline. It lets them borrow against the next years cap at the deadline if there is an acquisition that makes sense or keep the space for next year.
