The Ducks have so many punchable players on their team.

Calgary and Nashville have much in common as shown by their almost identical regular season records. They both have a great top D and a solid forward group. Gaudreau is similar to Forsberg, Monahan is similar to Johansen and Backlund is similar to Fisher. The difference in the playoffs is that Nashville has better depth, especially on defence, and a goalie that can steal games.
I thought Nashville underachieved a bit this season. They were really banged up all year. Now that they're healthy I'm not all that surprised they're making some noise. I picked them to win their division at the beginning of the season. That's a good hockey team.

I thought Rinne flinched away from that Ritchie shot, costing the Preds the game.

Kesler also said in post game (paraphrasing), "He's (RyJo) a skilled player and I play the game hard and obviously he doesn't like that..."

Ryan Johanssen ripped into Kesler, must watch interview.

As much as a dbag Kesler is not sure what calling him out in the media after game 2 will accomplish.

If Johansen had the attitude of Kesler he would be one of the top players in the league. I don't think Kesler is going to let up if you tell the whole world he's getting to you.

Ryan Johansen on Ryan Kesler: "I don't know how you can cheer for a player like that."

Answer: Have him play the Oilers apparently

He responded to a question asking his thoughts on Keslers play.. Far from calling him out.

Not sure kesler actually used his elbow, would like to see another angle.
Forsberg gave Silfverberg a pretty good spear to the groin.

lol he literally said "he has family and friends watch him play" and went on to say he doesn't understand how people can cheer for a guy like that.

He didn't even answer the question, he literally ripped him and called him out.

Don't get me wrong it was amazing listening to it, but from a Nashville point of view, I just don't see what good it does. It just lets Kesler know he's in his head and to continue to mess with him.

Ya I think Johansen is making it pretty clear Kesler is in his head. I thoroughly believe this quality is the only thing keeping Johansen from being a top 10 center in the league. He's only 24 so I hope he can overcome it and just play his game!

Johansen had an amazing game, stat wise. He dominated Kesler, out played him, hit him, out scored him. if the refs call the elbow then they woulda been even in PIMs. As a coach i would giv Johansen a tap on the shin pads for his efforts and tell him to do it again.

This is really gold coming from johanSen, the Vancouver boy, most likely was a Canucks fan growing up and cheered for Kesler all those years.

Does/did anyone actually cheer for Kesler? Besides Canucks fans.

I guess the one thing annoys me is how Kesselr and the rest of his fine feathered friends continually get away with pushing the limits.

surely the NHL must review the game footage and do a post mortem with the refs.

What is it with the Ducks that bring out subpar goaltending in other teams? I thought the officiating was poor as has been all playoffs as the Ducks as usual got away with a lot. As long as officiating continues to be poor teams like the Ducks will always have success.
