CBJ hasn't been doing morning skates all year, so how often does COL not do a morning skate? Is it a normal practice for them?

NHL players with more points than Gaudreau (5-16-21) since Feb 21 when Ferland joined his line:
1. Kucherov TB, 17-12-29
-- End of List --

Not to derail, but Kucherov taken with the pick immediately after Wotherspoon, and the Flames had him high on their list just like Johnny in that draft.
What if.....
Anyways, go Flames. Bring your best game even though it's just the Avs. Can't let up here.

The Avs skated yesterday at least.

Apparently they stopped doing them late January. Didn't know that. Definitely in the minority though.

I'm the opposite. I have a feeling the Flames blow the Avs out by a wide margin. Giordano, Monahan and Backlund with huge games.

Just a lesser known guy I think. Would have thrown a Ferkland in there, myself

I know the Avs fan is just pissed at how things have gone, but MacKinnon is a stud. Just goes to show how much of a team game hockey is. You need good players all around, good coaching, and good management. Avs have some good players, but terrible coaching and management.

This Avs fan disagrees

Would be nice to see a win tonight. Johnson should be in net.

Last easy game left. Play Elliot and maximize your chances for easy points.

For me, this game is meaningless, other then the points we should get. To see if the Flames will keep the foot on the gas, etc.
The important games are against Anaheim and especially in the Honda Centre. I said at the beginning of my season that this was the litmus test, to beat the Ducks and to beat them on home ice where they are 24-4-1 or some ridiculous number similar to that. Need Elliott at his best for that.

Don't think any game is meaningless at this point of the year until we clinch a playoff spot and ultimately, clinch a desirable match up.

Why would they need a morning skate when they will only by laying down for the game tonight?

I like MacKinnon and think he has an incredible set of tools, but i wouldn't trade Monny for him straight up
this isn't a case of having the Homer glasses on; Monahan has produced very well at the NHL level, he has great chemistry going with Gaudreau and he fits in with this group of guys.
with MacKinnon, you are really rolling the dice on his potential, which may or may not ever manifest...
i'd be interested to see how their fancy stats compare

With the Flames history of drafting, this is a very dangerous game to play...

Hoping for another celly hug between our future top 9 centers.
Was my favorite part of the celebration after the OT goal. Great feel-good vibes.

Just noticed we have a couple of players that can hit milestones tonight.
Gio is sitting at 99 career goals.
Johnny is at 199 career points.
Versteeg is at 199 career assists.
I bet all 3 reach their milestones tonight.
GFG!!!
