Ha ha. Totally. They were excellent stories with many excellent words. Actual LOLing.

Now I wonder what happened to that henpecked Polish man.

I was shooting at a Mac's store in Edmonton, where shootings are a regular occurrence, and they had just put in a soft serve ice cream station next to the Froster station. That is really dangerous for my belly.

This logo change and rebranding means that I'll get more work from them!

Goodbye, Mac's Milk. You were my sugar supplier through my formative years (and even today). My dentist thanks you.

I'm going to go with shoplifting and rampant looting during fire drills for $200 Alex....

I always remembered the fire drill play at SWC. Rush the Macs along with 100 others via the smoker doors. I still remember look of terror on the clerks trying to frantically lock the doors and hold back the horde of students from entering.

Around 1994 the cashier at Mac's in Crowfoot was this nutty dude that was super dramatic in the way he'd give you your change. He'd reach back by his ear and dive bomb the change tray, one coin at a time. Change would fly around everywhere. We called him Crazy Change Guy. Anybody else remember him, or was it just me and my high school friends?

Not that I'm all that bothered by the re-branding but it's kind of like when Rona swallowed up the Totem brand. One more thing that I identified as a western Canadian icon is now gone.

There are definitely Mac's in Eastern Canada. I grew up in Kingston and have lots of good memories about the one near where I lived. I think when I was 11 a couple of my dirtbag friends and I stole like 3 porno mags! The girl at the counter must have been high because I still have no idea how she couldn't have noticed.

Why is Circle K not called "O K"? That seems like a better name.
