Dubnyk with his third shutout since going to Minnesota, and second in three games. 6 wins in 8 starts with the Wild, four in a row.
Frickin' Colorado ties the game with 20 seconds left, and of course it's a three point game. This must be what it feels like for other team's fans to watch the Flames in the third.

That's three times in the last six games Colorado has tied it with less than a minute. They also tied it with 1:45 left against Boston.

So who's bubble has burst BigTuna?

He won't come back tonight to see that post.
BigTuna is no good.

Kings now in 12th place... the Avs are our target team to stay ahead of in 9th, for the moment.

This. If we stay ahead of Vancouver it wont matter if those Central teams keep winning.

Thought with Erik Johnson going down their defense would crumble, 5 points outta 6 since he's been down.

Every time we win, we maintain that gap between us and them and they can't gain ground. Let's focus on that.
But putting that thought on hold for a second - f### all you Minny, Dallas and Colorado. Just lay down and die already, like you're supposed to.

Don't like the 3 pt-game between Colorado and Dallas, but at least the game went to a shootout and the Avs stay at 15 in the ROW column (10 less than the Flames).

^ Well I wouldn't go that far, but I have to concur. The Jets are the weakest team in the top 8 right now, and would be below the playoff line if not for running with a nice little streak in january. But one great month simply does not convince me. If I were a betting man as to who of any one falls out, it'd be the Jets (as cool as it would be to see them make it not at our expense).
However, I'm not fully convinced Vancouver is playoff material either. There's something off about them.. I just don't think they have the guns or the depth any more. The Sedins are approaching their twilights (which is probably still 50 point seasons for them, but still).

Agree with this wholeheartedly. I think Canucks will end up on the outside looking in.

Yeah, it was a hot start for them, but a strong finish is what gets you in, and from what I've seen from them, they're not playing too inspired lately.
I think the Stars and Avs are much hungrier for a spot right now.
On another note - wow, you're telling me the Hurricanes can win in Anaheim and we can't? What's going on.
