I missed pretty much the whole game except the 2:00 off the 4th quarter. I just read Cornish left the game. I hope he is okay and we didn't get anyone else gets hurt.

Wouldn't be funny if Stamps scores a TD here and win the game

So I was in Edmonton Thursday and yesterday and making fun of their weather. Then I am seeing the field at McMahon Stadium and Commonwealth Stadium. I guess jokes on me, eh?

Pathetic effort against the second worst team in the league.

Hard picturing this team as anything but one and done in the playoffs. Team just doesn't seem to have any brains. 6 turnovers... Pathetic.

Step back from the ledge, we have had injuries all year and have a 14-3 record. It isn't over.

14-3 does not tell the whole story. This is not a good team

It's even worse than that. Poor effort against a **** football team AND we used all of our starters and stars to treat it like a meaningful game, and have now likely lost two of our best players.

I know it's probably irrational, but I'm pissed at this game today. Everything that could have gone wrong did.

Bad weather
played to win with starters
Lost
Star players injured

Doesn't get much worse than that.

And on top of that, we have to listen to PeteLfan spew the same posts he's been repeating in every god damned thread this season. So to clarify, yes it can get worse than that, cause PeteLfan.

A tad too dramatic, are we? A meaningless game on a crappy weather. Some of these guys are probably wasn't full out and just need to get some work. I agree it was a sloppy game but this is not something that I lose sleep of even if we lost the worst team in the West. All it means is, the Stamps will not equal Eskimos' 16 wins in 1989 and Mitchell best winning record start in CFL career stops.

Price being out might be a blessing in disguise, he sucks in the cold.

That was the most Canadian thing I've done lately. Anyone judging the Stamps by this game is foolish IMO, weather is the ultimate equalizer in sports.

I was surprised Cornish played today. Snowy game, awful field conditions, I would have held him until next week. Also surprised Mitchell didn't get pulled at some point in the second half for the same reasons. Calgary needs to learn to hold onto the ball when the temperature drops below 0, I think that is pretty much the only takeaway from this game that makes sense.

Simpson was a stud out there. Best player on the field.

this isnt a bad thing for them to show that they can be beat if they play sloppy.... hopefully Cornish and Price, especially Cornish can come back.... the Stamps deserved to lose with all their turnovers but this reffing is such a joke.... do they get paid by the flag?

Keeping in mind there's a good chance of similar conditions in the west final. It's not like this weather was an anomaly for November in Calgary.

It's almost assuredly going to be cold, and don't be surprised if it's snowing too. It's 0 degrees, this wasn't even really that cold, we'll likely be well into the minuses for the west final.

This is true, but if I remember correctly, the last few West finals have had nicer weather. Colder, but not snowing during the game and the field was relatively clear. This was one of the worst games of the past few years snow wise for Calgary. But you're right, definitely not out of the realm of possibility for Calgary.

I still think it isn't really fair to judge the Stamps too much on the game. I'm sure some of them that was their first time playing in weather like that. I'm sure they'll adjust and be ready to go.

EDIT: And if it does snow that hard during the west final then I think any idea of a pregame favourite goes out the window.

So there are no good CFL teams then?

Another hilarious take from you.
