You should not have to stop, that would be interference from Brodin. Brodin needs to just keep skating.
The NHL will rule it a no suspension because of Brodin's stupidity. Mark my words.

And all Kreider has to do is not dangerously push a guy in the back as they're heading into the boards.

So he should just stop and let Brodin calmly take the puck? You take the body every time or you're sitting on the bench if you just stop there. Brodin stopped after seeing Kreider coming at full speed. I'm glad he got hit, maybe next time he'll not be so stupid. I hate when defenceman do that play.

I am understanding which is why there won't be a suspension. I think it's you who isn't understanding. Players get pushed in the back ALL the time. Brodin is at fault here.

Because the NHL's suspension policy is anything but ridiculous? If he doesn't get one, it's just yet another dirty play that gets nothing. Which happens a dozen times a year. It doesn't prove anything.
