Two wild players were bowled over prior to the goal. Wonder if that's not something that might have been missed.

Not a bad first playoff game for an 18 year old rookie.
Damn Avs.

He was so goddamn ####ing good in this game.
Minnesota has two good defensemen and then a bunch of potatoes.

Thought the same thing, but saw on the replay that he and Cooke collided and then Barrie bowled over the Wild defenceman. No real call available there, I think.
My son is going to be so disappointed tomorrow. He went to bed with the Wild up. His favourite team because of Parise (they share their first names). I thought they'd hold on. Minny will be in tough now, that was their chance to grab one game in Denver.

Damn.. Just when you think Minni has it broken wide open, the Avs come back in impressive fashion.
From coaching(having the balls to pull your goalie with 3 minutes left in the playoffs is brave. Brilliant, but brave)
All the way up to McKinnon who was calling for that puck and Berrie was gonna try and dangle but lost control right to McKinnon. That kid is slick.
Impressive win.

I don't dislike the Avalanche. But what I do dislike are the damn stupid Denver broadcast team who calls their games. It is almost infuriating to listen to them go on like this year's Avs invented hockey. Morons.

The Avs disgust me. The success they're having this year just underlines the thank job they pulled off last season. I thought it was to the extent that they should have lost their pick. That's how blatant it was. Disgusting to see how that team got rewarded with a player like Mackinnon for purposely losing last year.

Fantastic game. But I'll never understand all the hate for Colorado, fun exciting young team how can you not enjoy watching them?

good job flames for playing hard for that 6th pick in completely wasted firesale rebuild starting season. now we can watch mackinnon dominating the league next ten years and be proud we didn't tank those few useless months.

I don't dislike them I just don't think they are that good outside of Landeskog, MacKinnon and Duchene.
I didn't think they were much better than Minny before the Duchene so with him out if Bryzgalov can not totally suck I think Minny is the better team.

take Parise, Suter, and Pominville off the wild and they're a much worse team then Colorado. You can't take a teams top players away and then say they're not that good.

I am not taking them off the team I am saying even with those guys the Avs are a worse team.
I think the secondary guys behind the 3 you mentioned on Minny are better than what the Avs have.
Granlund, Pominville, Coyle, Moulson, Brodin, Scandella, Spurgeon are better than their counterparts on the Avs.

Personally I'd rather have Stastny, ROR, Johnson, McGinn and Barrie over those guys, to each their own

The Avs defense is horrible. The flames have a better defense core than them. It's almost Oiler-riffic back there. Leafs 2.0 at this point, if varlamov doesn't play out of his mind this year they are right down with the wild and stars.

Barrie and Johnson are studs.
But I get ya, they're comparable to Gio and Brodie.
Our bottom 4 is better.

That's because you don't think they tanked last year. I do, and hate them for it.
