I'm still at the office. I can keep working or go grab a bite to eat and watch the end of the game. How bad is it for the oilers right now?

Comically bad, same as usual. Although last game was more pathetically bad I suppose.

Sharks lead the Oilers 3-0 early in the second. I think the organist here just played "Nearer my God to thee."

I guess they didn't want to pay Filppula what he was asking, which is fine, but then paying Weiss the same amount didn't feel correct.

Filppula might not be Zetterberg but he has been learning from Datsyuk and Zetterberg all his career. Over 100 playoff games, and so on. And then they bring in a guy from Florida and expect him to be an improvement? Didn't make sense.

gord miller tweeted that the last team to be shut out 3 games in a row was the 72/73 Minnesota north stars. I tried for a few minutes to looks for game sheets on line but had no luck.

the funny thing is if Schultz didn't score with 2 minutes left in the game against Washington to make it 4-1 they would be sitting at 4.
