Brodeur was in net for the Devils win, maybe he will be in net for the next few games.

Damn Dion Phaneuf looks great this year. He keeps shutting down the top NHl players.

Don't worry. It just works the Laffs faithful into a lather, and makes their first round exit all the more enjoyable for the rest of Canada.

The Sabres fall back to earth as they lose 3-2 in reg time to the Lightning. Kind of surprised the Flyers won 5-2 over the Islanders, where did that come from? The Rangers squeak out a win with just 13 seconds left in OT, 3-2 over Detroit. Both goalies played well, especially the rookie Talbot for the Rangers. The Wild win 5-3 on the roaed over the Bhawks, rematch is Monday in Minnesota. Niemi with the SHUTOUT as he stopped all 22 shots as the Sharkies beat the Habs 2-0. Niemi has played every minute this season for the Sharks, no back up necessary. The Leafs took control over the Penguins. That was an impressive 4-1 win. Penalties cost the Bruins as the Devils score 2 ppg late in the game to win 4-3 in reg time. The Jets in the SO beat the Stars 2-1. Nashville sure got spanked at home, 6-1 to the Blues. The Blues looked angry on the ice from losing the night before to the Canucks.

So we've gone from no chance to make the playoffs to first round exit.

Best not get too excited, it's just one opinion on an internet forum.

Reading the Oilers PGT on HF is pure gold! I honestly don't know how they haven't boycotted their team yet.
