Just do the right thing this one time. I'm willing to forget the horrible trades, the missed playoffs year after year, the rotating cast of coaches, heck I'm even willing to forgive Jay "I guarantee we make the playoffs" Feaster's non-sensible outburst, but please, for the love of good taste, just ditch the Nascar piping already and go with these fulltime.

Please just keep the full reds as their full time homes and the old school whites for the away jerseys. I mean they won the Cup in those jerseys! 3rd jersey can be whatever....just nothing like the podium jerseys of the dark days. And no need for a Canada nor Alberta flag, we know where they play.

This is too bad. I like the retros. It's the home and away jerseys that should be changed, I think they are the worst in this franchise's history. Maybe they will bring back the pedestal!

If you haven't noticed, most of the teams, doesn't matter what sport but they all have gone back to being retro at some point. Jersey's nowadays are way too busy IMO, retro's are nice and clean.

Though, next years could be the 3rd jerseys that KK said he had created and approved by the league, but then pulled them from being released 3 or 4 years ago. It takes almost a calender year from final design to league approval for release in the fall. Unless the Flames were working on it last year, almost seems that these have been fast tracked, they may well be the ones that King had second thoughts about releasing and then didn't have to go through some of those steps. It had a new secondary logo, and I think he pulled them because thought it was too many jerseys (knowing that the retros were coming back)

You know what I think would be absolutely awesome? And hear me out here. If each team, for one game each year, allowed kids to design a jersey, and have a contest where the fans vote on the designs. Still with me? Good. I am talking kindergarten kids. Let them use their imaginations and give their interpretation of what the team should wear. Make it a big charity drive somehow. It would be epic some of the designs they would come up with.
