I'm shocked it took 20 picks for Teravainen to go. What a steal.

I'll go with a little bit of a gamble and take Andrei Makarov of Russia

I think Sheifele has been the biggest steal so far.

Do you know something i do not? I thought Vasilevski was the starter? It's hard to find info on the Russian team.

I'll keep going with my team Canada trend and take Morgan Rielly.
This will give me a chance to triple up on points with 3/5 players on Canada's first PP unit.

He's most likely the starter but they will probably split round robin games, so I'm gambling that vasilevski has a bad few games and Makarov takes the spot from him.

Heads up, I'm about to drive from Saskatoon to Calgary so if the draft is moving well today, I won't be able to make my next pick until this evening or so.

Yeah no! I am stunned he fell this far. Probably the best defenseman in the tourney.

I would debate that - Hamilton would likely be in the NHL right now if it was on (on a good team).
Regardless, the point of the pool I believe is not to pick the best players, but to get the most points. And as good as Jones is (I am hoping he somehow falls to us in June), I doubt very much that he leads defensemen in points in the tourney.
For what it's worth, he has 5 more points than Wotherspoon, having played 2 more games. And fewer points than Pouliot, who could not earn a spot on the Cdn team.

I'm here, I'll make my pick ASAP.
EDIT - Well, I'm going with a bunch of swing-for-the-fences picks, hopefully they turn out. I'll take Anton Zlobin, Russia.
