Uncontrollable laughter. It only comes around once in a while, but it's magic.

Some better posts as the thread goes on. Earlier on, it seems many posters don't know what "simple pleasures" means and think they are posting in the "what makes you happy thread?" (Damn.. this post should be in the grinding my gears thread"! DAng!

So basically it isn't a guilty pleasure, you just wanted to point out that you are wealthy. We've had guys like you on here before, and trust me, no one gives a **** how much money you have/make.

Getting taken to task by a ten-year old who just tonight learned how to play Texas Hold Em'. If this had been for real, I'd be out 60 bucks. Well played, son. Well played indeed.

Slurpees. And not that American crap injected with air to fill out the cup, but the good ones that are thick with diabetes.

Agreed with many on here, but for the purposes of originality, having the house completely to myself on a rare Sunday and being able to crank up the volume on the NFL to 11 all day.

The house to myself, a good bottle of wine accompanied by either a good book or documentary.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO

When I was a kid my folks would take us on mystery tours. I hated them, I hate not knowing where I am going. I used to tell my sister we were going to drop her off in the middle of the woods.

A Saturday hanging out at home with nothing to do, listening to all your favourite music - really loud.
Sleeping late
Snow storms when you don't have to go anywhere.
Hot chocolate in the winter.
