Mike Brown is truly the worst. Let Kobe coach the team. Have to agree with SoCal, no way Brown makes it through this year. He has no idea what he's doing and he's not going to be flexible or adapt. The way Nash was used, you'd swear Mike Brown had never seen him play before. He also decided to run his starters into the ground last night, on opening night, first of a back to back none the less.
It would have been so great to have seen Steve Nash come play for the Raptors but last night made it clear, Kyle Lowry is the much better fit. Nash is still going to have an incredibly strong season, but he has gotten even worst on the defensive side of the ball. Williams and Rondo would have destroyed him if he came out East. Still can't see Lakers D being that bad all season long with Dwight Howard.
I see them winning ugly tonight in Portland. The Heat have to be loving the Lakers this year, the attention will be squarely on them all season.

Harden with 34 points in his Huston debut so far. He's making it rain right now.
EDIT: Finished with 37 points and 12 assist. Some kinda start.

This is not the same Dwight Howard I watched last night. Guy is killing it at the free throw line right now (by Dwight's standards).
Also, Lillard is doing pretty well. I'm impressed.

I hate the Lakers so much and hope they fail. It really sucks that Nash went there because he is awesome but I hate D12 and Kobe. Their roster is stacked but their superstars outside of Dwight are all old and they have no bench I think the Thunder, or Clippers can beat them in the West. I think the Heat are unbeatable even with their lack of size they have the best player on the planet by a wide margin with a VERY good supporting cast.

Nash looks like he's done for the night. He took a knee on knee from Lillard just before the half. He came out after the half and he's struggling.

The Lakers aren't going to go anywhere with this princeton offense system they are trying to force on there players and with Mike Brown coaching them. The Lakers are so screwed if Dwight decides not to sign with them.

The Lakers solution is simple, but its never gonna happen: Put Kobe on the bench. Seriously, have him sit the first portion of the game (8-12 minutes) and the start of the second half and let Steve Nash run the offense the Steve Nash way with Dwight and Gasol. Then you can put both Nash and Gasol on the bench, let Kobe come in against tired first unit guys or second unit scrubs and let him run the offense like Kobe wants. Saves Kobe's legs a little bit, gives them a better bench instantly and lets Steve Nash be Steve Nash. But if Kobe still needs the ball in his hands constantly, this offense will never work.

It has nothing to do with Kobe being a ball hog in my opinion and everything to do with Mike Brown in my opinion.
