1992 Plymouth Laser RS
(FWD, NA)

This colour, but the paint was in much worse condition.
Fun car, but not reliable at all and parts were really expensive.

Hand me down from my parents... 1998 Buick Century. Was a great car... lots of memories until my mom crashed it into the garage reversing with it down. Cost more to replace the door than the cars worth.

been driving it for 6 years, put about 75,000 on it so far (up to 287k now). so reliable, perfect student car. only thing automatic is the transmission though. I am looking forward to getting a newer car with more technology and more power.

My first vehicle was a small Suzuki two stroke motorcycle but my first car was a 53 flat head V8 Ford like this.
I was looking for a Chev but I found this in great condition for $300 and my buddy talked me into getting it. It wasn't in so great condition after I more or less bagged it a year or so later and traded it in on a 57 Chev. People talk about having no power conveniences on their first car, but this Ford (and other cars of this era) had a 6 volt electric system so the windshield wipers operated on a vacuum from the motor. If you were going up hill on a rainy day, you had to back off on the gas in order to have the wipers make a swipe.

1988 Pontiac Fiero Formula, I still have it, less then 100,000 kms on it. Not sure what I'm going to do with that car...
It has been covered in a garage for the past 10 years.

A Chevy Vega, I want to say it was a '74? This picture is of a '72, but it's very representative of the car.
I will also leave this here as an indication of how fortunate I was to drive this automobile:

2010 Subaru Impreza 2.5i hatch, Since I got my licence at 19, I've been taking the bus downtown for work in about 8 years and when I found a new job, I decided to buy a car at 28. I would have preferred a 2006 model imperza sedan but my parents didnt want me buying used cars.

'89 red Hyundai Excel. It was actually a hand-me-down from my sister. That thing had no power steering, so making U-turns was like opening a submarine hatch. It served me well until I totaled the thing on 16th Ave off Deerfoot. I rear ended a person... in front of a cop..on the first day of a transit strike...
