IDK I think they need a leader change too

If you call them Morons you will never win them back. Regardless of if they are or aren’t morons they are electors. So you need to learn to appeal to the pool of voters you have not the pool of voters you want.

For someone who earned a living in politics, I don't think I've ever read a poster who knows less about politics than you. No disrespect, but there's every reason to call this election. Frankly it should have been called an hour ago. The UCP are cruising and they look like they're going to win over 50 seats and the popular vote by close to double digits.

Except they didn’t vote for their best interests, tgat is what is so pathetic. Outside of those directly getting a pay check from the party or as an elected official nobody benefits from a UCP government and even those people ultimately suffer with the damage they will do.

Unreal. Fuucking incredible a party with the track record of this UCP, with this extra crackpot leader, gets a majority. 4 more years of destroying this province, taking our money and spitting in our face while telling us we’re better off for it.

The arrogance in this is what I’m talking about.
You believe yourself to be the judge of truth?
You’ve lost all context.

I'm disappointed but not surprised. Donald Trump and the GOP completely redefined campaigning and politics and introduced a new wave of populism propelled by the modern landscape of social media and tribalism. This isn't a trend that is going away any time in the near future.
A person that called a segment of children #### cookies totally bashed their opponent in the polls. This is the new normal, and you can bet it's going to spread across Canada.

I think in a normal election you would be right but with the tabulators not reporting you needed to get enough data from them to show that there wasn’t a significant difference between them and day of polls. So in general the media made the right call.

I wonder if this doesn't mirror the 2015 federal election a bit. There were constant attack ads for 1-2 months then the debates came and Smith (similar to Trudeau) didn't seem nearly as bad as what people had heard.
