It's a prisoners dilemma. Knowing the outcome Calgary woukd be better with a few liberal mp's prior to the election you would have wanted conservative mp's to hold out the outside chance of a minority.
But if pork is going to exist you want to make sure you get your share of the pork. It's the fatal flaw in the U.S. System

Heres a quick lesson for you son:
Our province has an NDP Government with no federal support.
Our country has a Liberal Government and as yet no Federal Liberal MPs from Alberta.
No one with any sort of power has any incentive or ability whatsoever to take care of Alberta or ensure that our voice gets heard.
But yeah, keep spewing whatever nonsense it is that you think you know.

Probably regroup and come back in 2019 just like the liberals did this year after being decimated.
The difference is the CPC wasn't decimated. They still have 100+ seats.

1) maybe now they will get some federal support. Trudeau may actually talk to the premiers
2) Hehr will be there!
3) Money to cities, work closer with mayors.
We'll obviously have to see but Harper talked to nobody, not even his own PC Alberta government.

I don't feel like my riding was particularly well represented even when Conservatives were in power. This basically changes nothing, except that the MPs are now maybe a smidgen less beholden to the party leadership.

I have no representation in the Federal government, hopefully that won't be as bad as I think it will.
