Band was playing last night and the red pad fell of the drums. Ok the red pad broke off where it connects to the yellow. Has this happened to anyone? Didn't think they were getting played that hard either..

Supposed to be a Roy Orbison pack, but my understanding is that it was delayed. (Looks like it might have just gone up).

I have a question and I am to lazy to look through the last 35 pages for my answer, so please help me.

I have guitar hero, if I get just the guitar hero world tour game (not the package with the guitar) will the guitar work? Also I have a mic from the Disney Sing it game (for my daughters, really) will this work?

Also same questions if I get Rock Band, will the guitar and\or mic work?

Edit
This is on the Wii and the mic connects via USB.

For guitar/drum compatibility check here.

The microphone will probably work as USB microphones are pretty generic.

And the big news of the day for Wii owners: The Music Store has arrived! (announcement)

Booo....I love how they market "20 Free Songs" like you'll be able to pick 20 songs to download - but no, they just give you 20 random tracks that you never would have downloaded in the first place.

Its 20 free songs you didnt have before. It's FREE, quit whining. Maybe these 20 songs have a band you never would've listened to and start to like. You know, like marketing, which is all Rock Band is.

Geez, people are even pissed when stuff is free nowadays...

that is a perfectly valid argument. however, here was my thought process in complaining about it.

when i heard about the download, i thought it was cool. i thought i would have some cool new songs to enjoy. then when i read they were all songs i had never heard of, i realized that everytime i wanted to hit the random button or was in a tour, i might end up stuck playing one of those cruddy songs. additionally, when i have friends over to play fun songs, we are endlessly scrolling through those songs we never want to play.

neither are big issues, but certainly gave me reason to not want to download them personally.

i thought that at first, but after playing through the new songs i actually found a few i like. and there's no way i would have heard of these bands if it weren't for Rock Band, so i appreciate them giving the unknown bands a way to get exposed

yeah i hear ya. i probably could have downloaded the mp3's of the songs to at least see if they caught my attention. and i am not totally against the idea; just too many times i hear people say that because they are free there is no reason to complain. but since you cant get rid of songs once you add them, it is important to be diligent in adding things.

If you go back into the Music Store, select the song you don't want anymore, you can choose to delete it.

I believe one of the consoles does in fact have the 20 free songs as an all or none deal, but the Wii is all going to be single song downloads - no packs at all. The good news is that you will be able to pick and choose which free songs are worth keeping, the bad news is that you won't be able to get discounts by buying a full pack of songs.

I'm pretty sure on the XBOX it's all or none. On the dashboard, if you drill down into file management, you can delete individual songs (or any DLC from any game) there. I'm *pretty* sure the 20 songs are lumped into one, same as if you download any multi-song track pack.
