So there's a new MLB post-season rule that seemed to catch everyone off guard today. The Jays are allowed to replace Liriano on the roster and not place him on the DL. This rule applies only to players that suffer a concussion.
They have replaced him with Danny Barnes.

Yeah, I heard that today too, but my understanding is concussions are the only injury it applies to, I was told it also applies to family emergencies and bereavement leave.

Stroman posting a bunch of snaps of the team out the Drake concert tonight. Good they are out having some fun to get their minds off of the game, but damn that doesn't seem very bright from a PR perspective. Just opening them up from all kinds of criticism, especially with drinks clearly visible. They don't need to be spending energy answering those type of questions.

Posting video of your players drinking at a concert at 11 pm at night before a playoff game is moronic. I'm not complaining about them going out, I'm glad they are lose and could care less they went. They should have enough common sense though to keep it to themselves. You can rest assure the sharks in the Toronto media will be all over this if they lose tomorrow. Not sure why Stroman would want to give them that ammo. Time for him to grow up a little.

Yeah the raptors dealt with a ####storm for walking thru a casino. This won't be good if they lose tomorrow, regardless of whether or not it actual affects the outcome.

Their game was still 21 hours away, it's not like they have a 1pm game. The only people using it as ammo or think it is ammo are ones looking for something to complain about, like yourself. Get over it dude, no reasonable person cares.

You're being pretty hard headed if you don't think posting that video is anything short of foolish and it's just me looking for something to complain about. This is going to bring some serious questions to the team if they don't win tomorrow. Questions that didn't need to be asked.
I'm not mad they went out, I'm mad Stroman would put his teammates in that sort of position to fill up his snap chat feed.

I don't personally care. I'm glad they are loose and getting away from the game for a bit. I just know what the Toronto media is like, and I would have preferred if they didn't have that hanging over if they were to lose tomorrow.
Sanchez is going to end this tomorrow anyways, so it probably won't see the light of day.

Me and my room mate decided at 1AM tonight that we'd buy a flight out to Toronto and get tickets to the game this evening
Everything is bought, flights at 810AM. Going to be one hell of a day. Go Jays Go!
