Problem with Italy is that younger generation has no real interest in the sport. It has hurt both their player development, and the gates at the league. 15-25 year olds just aren't as invested in the sport as previous generations were.

Whether that is a cultural thing or just because of all the scandals and corruption the sport just doesn't seem to resonate with the younger generation anymore.
Thats interesting.

I kind of figured it has more to do with the globalization and commercialization of the game.

I'm more than happy for instance to watch a game on TV from half the world away. And that goes for most sports, I enjoy them, but I dont feel a need to go and actually see them except on the odd special occasion.

Either way....Go Liverpool! YNWA!!

Yes, Liverpool is going to win. Thanks for your support.

Good to know Spurs fans are behind us!

I know Slava is cheering hard for Liverpool.

City gonna have to avoid folding like they did last time. Could get away from them if they don't respond.

Edit: Salah definitely offside, but poor defending regardless.

That'll probably be that, City just can't handle the pressure.

Just a total mess defensively for City. Everyone running around aimlessly on both goals.

this is hilarious. Seeing Liverpool win sucks, but watching Pep fail miserably is sooooo satisfying.

And yet, despite the start, Liverpool are Liverpool. They have what it takes to blow this.

Look here you, if you're not going to thrash your Cross-City Rivals then at least be gracious when we do it for you!
