That Buf headshot reminded me of Hunter on Pierre Turgeon years ago. Blatant unsportsmanlike cheap shot because a guy scored. I recall Fleury getting hit into the net well after a goal on Ranford (Steve Smith maybe).

That's a tough one. I was hoping the jets could make a series out of it. I feel bad for their fans tonight.

The Jets are like the anti-Flames, you just know they're going to cough up a lead late in the game. Whoever was trying to battle with Cogliano for the puck at the end there should be ashamed

If our boys can finish the Canucks in 5, it won't be that much of a difference

Really felt bad for their fans tonight and especially the ones that paid crazy money to be there. Good game but losing their third straight game leading into the third must be so frustrsting.

Oh man, I just watched the highlights for this and the white out looked amazing. I feel bad for their fans. They just looked so deflated after loosing that one.

Plus the Ducks were at or near the top in 3rd period comeback wins as well. 24 I believe.

I guess it doesn't help either that you guys are playing the Canucks and we have the top seed in the west. Slight difference in quality there.

Feel bad for the fans. Seeing them cough up the lead with two mins left was brutal.

Damn, was really rooting for them to win this one. Hopefully they can still make a series outta this.

true but let's be honest. the flames would definitely put up a better fight than the peg. with our ability to actually ramp up the play late instead of nervously choke it away.

Well the Flames did come back from a 3 goal deficit in the 3rd period against those same Ducks and won the game. Also doesn't help when you have idiots on your team like Byfuglien who's more worried about getting cheap shots in than trying to cover his man

I still think the Ducks would hand us our jock. We got the weakest matchup in the west.

It definitely doesn't seem to be helping. That is true.

I dunno I think Winnipegs done pretty well. The Jets have lead far more in the series than Anaheim, and our crap goaltender chokes it away.

Calgarys regular season vs Anaheim this year isn't that hot.

with Bouma and Byron back and maybe a late return of Gio, IF we make it into the next round we can at least put up a good fight against the ducks. winning in their building would be hella hard though knowing our history.

Sucks for the Jets but they have a good young team. They'll go further next year.
