Ugh. Bad baseball by the Jays this inning. Missed bunt and a throwing error. Jays should be way up in this game. Instead they're on the verge of being down a couple runs.

I wouldn't mind having Grichuk now as frustrating as he can be. Tapia isn't really what the Jays need. They're never going to be a small ball team. If Tapia is going to take 3rd strikes, Grichuk could do that too, but with power.

Jays escape that inning without any damage. Now need to get some runs here

Kikuchi is one of the most stressful pitchers to watch as a fan. He lives on the knifes edge

Eh! Great houdini act by Kikuchi to keep the Sox off the score card there! Capped off by a save that would make Markstrom proud.
It was cute watching Cora get upset about that borderline call. It was a ball but hit his spot and was closer than it looked. Jays are due for a few of those anyway.

Would be nice for Bichette to start doing something for the Jays other than looking pretty

He is kinda like Ray. Wicked stuff but wild they just gotta make sure he’s effectively wild and doesn’t kill himself with walks. He is one of the few lefties that can probably match Rays velocity as a starter. So I see what they see in him just need to hone it.

A very needless error by Bo leads to a 2-1 Sox lead.

Bo really struggling at both sides right now.
And Boston with good fundamental baseball takes the lead. This one is gonna suck if the Jays can't find a way to come back into it.

Needless for sure, but I assume it's the cold weather. Vlad and Bo both messed up on that.
I'm a tad annoyed they didn't bring in Merryweather or someone like that to get the last two outs. In a 1-1 game you play it tight.

Bo had so much time there was no need to keep running and throwing. Could have stopped, set, and made a proper throw with lots of time to spare.

Bo with the urgency of a fielding drill on that play, horrible. Too much Hollywood

I can't watch this anymore right now. Jays are having a tough enough time getting the bats going without these goddamn pitches 3 inches off the plate being called strikes for #### sakes

What's with the Jays getting screwed over by the umps on those outside pitches to their right handed hitters? Seen a ton of them this year.

You're probably right upon replay he did try to make it seem too smooth. Really was a bad play.
And ump suddenly not doing us any favours.

I thought Jays pitchers got a couple calls that might have been balls called strikes, but the amount other teams pitchers are getting are getting ridiculous
