It says a lot about Florida's goaltending situation that Knight is getting starter reps in net right now. He might actually be in goal for game five. When is the last time we've seen three different goalies for a team in a playoff series?
Obviously due to the amount of articles out there.
Not everyone agrees
Remember the lighting had two players on LTIR that magically appeared for game 1 of the playoffs.
This type of thing has been happening for awhile now.
Its a grey zone, GMs are sure love it as its a tool they can use
He was "dazzling teammates at practice" two months ago but he needed those extra two months to really dazzle them! There are a few posters on this board who believe everything the league says. Also, NHL doctors never once looked at Kucherov, the TB Lightning doctors did. Those doctors are not employed by the NHL, they are paid by the Lightning organization.

3 goalies in a series isn't too rare I would imagine, but usually it would be caused by an injury to one of the 3 I bet (like Washington this year already). Vanecek started Game 1 but was hurt, Andersen took over, and Samsonov is playing now.
CHI lost their last 4 games that year, costing them to 3 seed and home ice against NAS. (NAS only got 2pts in their last 6 games, so CHI could've overtaken them)

Well you seem to believe he was perfectly healthy due to a hyperbolic quote by a sports journalist… is that better?
It would be nuts. It's almost certainly not going to happen. It's the Lightning. But it'll be fun if he pulls at least one out.
Goaltending really has been the difference in the series. The Panthers have outplayed the Bolts for most of it, they should be up. Vasilevskiy is just better, even when he's not in peak form. It's just plain harder to score for the Panthers, even if they have good finishing talent. It's not altogether dissimilar from the Oilers / Jets; the Oilers should probably be up 2-1 but the Jets have just gotten a few extra saves when they needed them. When it feels like it takes less to get a goal than it does for the other guys, the confidence that creates is huge.

Well, Spencer Knight had a really good first. TB with a late PP had control the full two minutes and a few good looks. After that first goal, he’s been quite solid. Total of 22 shots in the first including a number that were not particularly easy
Location: Wondering when # became hashtag and not a number sign.
Exp:
Its unreal how poor the Panthers are defensively as a team. Its a shooting gallery for whoever is in net and jesus himself would have a bloated GAA behind that group. Tack on the imense talent on the Bolts and nothing should be a surprise about where this series is.
As a reference...Islanders have 15 shots against the Pens in 49 minutes of play. Bolts have 22 shots on the Cats in 20.
