Flames looked like an elite team for the first 40 minutes, and then everything just falls apart over a span of 1 minute. So incredibly frustrating. Hockey is a crazy game sometimes.

I don't even mind if we lose this one. The return of dominant play and sustained offensive zone time is more important moving forwards. This at least gives me hope, compared with the last few wins that were far less dominant.

The doom and gloom in this thread is brutal. My god we dominated and things havent gone our way. It sucks but thats the way it goes sometimes. Tre waived glass and hamilton and i have faith that he will do the same with bart who is only really playing because hamonic is injured. The only thing i cant understand is why gulutzan keeps playing him

Flames have been awful vs the Canucks and Oilers since GG got here. .500 vs an awful Canucks team and have not one game vs the Oilers. That's not acceptable

And I hate overreaction posts too so we're even. I know full well some of those were preventable, I said as much. Smith would probably want at least two of them back too.

I don't like Bartowski being out there either and want GG to stop putting him out there. I won't however call for anyone to be fired, or traded, or shot into the sun, when we have dominated play and currently sit above 500.

Quality scoring chances have to be in the 25 - 5 range for the Flames. This game is ridiculous.
