Hopefully Monaco-Barca next round. Would be exceptionally fun no doubt.

So Leicester City could possible win the Champions League and get relegated? I assume that has never happened before?

That was my dream, Leicester getting relegated while winning the Champions League. Highly unlikely now though simply because I doubt they relegated now that they care and are trying again.

have to feel for Gladbach today. 2-0 up against Schalke, then they concede a goal because of a really weird bounce and then they got the Clattenburg special (joke of a pen). Out because of the away goal rule, this one's gotta sting ...
Man United, Olympique Lyon, FC Schalke, Celta Vigo, Ajax Amsterdam, KRC Genk, Besiktas and RSC Anderlecht are the final 8. Would love to avoid Lyon at that stage as well as the ever annoying trip to Turkey, but in any case, United have a really good chance here.

United game was a snoozer.
Ajax/Besiktas is the obvious one that UEFA will be hoping to avoid giving the crap going on between the two countries.

Real getting Bayern and not Leicester has to be a mistake right?

Anderlecht was best draw for you.

no doubt. Unless something unexpected happens, the final 4 should be United, Lyon, Schalke and Celta. Easier path to CL football than getting to 4th in the PL, imo.

Even though it wouldn't have given them much of a shot at getting through it would have been great if Leicester could have drawn one of Barca, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Juventus.
What other chance will fans of Leicester have to see some of the true giants of world football on their home pitch, in a competitive Champions League match .
Guess there is always next round if they can get past Athletico.

Agreed. Drove me insane to no end that Rodgers kept trotting out 2nd and 3rd string teams for Europa ties.

Cristiano Ronaldo has helped unveil a new statue in his own honour, as the Aeroporto da Madeira was renamed after the island's most famous son.
What should have been a joyous celebration of a glittering career, though, has been sidetracked by criticism of the Portuguese star's bronze likeness.
Questions have been asked as to whether the face actually resembles Ronaldo's in any way, with other assessments of the sculptor's handiwork ranging from "questionable" to "horrifying".
