Maybe not. Watching the replay a few times, it looks like McCarthy had a chance to tackle him but we never know what could have really happen if Reed did not block him.

Its just one of about 130 plays. It's just that the order of the plays makes some people think its more important.

If any one feels there is an "*" beside this game you can conclude two things about them:
1. They are probably particularly weak understanding logic. Related skills would be calculating probabilities and applying deduction
2. They don't know much about football

Lewis has been here 2 or 3 years longer than Raymond. Not sure if there is a special teamer or Olineman that has been here longer though.

Ticat fan here, the main reason they lost this game was red zone efficiency, plain and simple. If one of their field goals becomes a touchdown, they go to overtime. As for the punt return for a TD called back, it is a correct call by the ref, but in looking at the replay, I don't think the coverage player would have been able to make a play anyway, so bad penalty to take. I am most disappointed with Banks for not coming back into the game! I understand the disappointment, so does the rest of your team. Banks' speed was needed in those last few seconds and I do not care how disappointed you are, you have to get back in there. That decision will haunt him, and team mates won't publicly say anything but they will remember that he quit on them when they needed him.

as far as the penalty goes:

it wasnt a necessary block to make. td either way
it WAS a penalty and had to be called

going to tough for him to live with that. but full marks for stamps. best team in the cfl all year and this was deserved.

What's more bush league than suspending a player twice for the same thing and having a team named the Redskins in 2014? If anything makes the CFL look bad it's Dallas Smith and The Imagine Dragons, not a legitimate flag.
