Kouleas an expert? Pleeaase. That guy was an obnoxious clown.

His Koul on ice stuff was laughable...and he would constantly take shots at basketball on a network that has dedicated much of its efforts to the Raptors.

He hasn't added anything to the Score in years. Good riddance.

TSN employees will be the first to tell you that ESPN is the envy of all sporting news networks. If you tried to tell Dan O'Tool that ESPN was 'mickey-mouse', he'd laugh at you. ESPN's studios are American, TSN's are Canadian. They both were made with what would appeal to their audiences in mind...

Right after he left The Score he went to Global here in Toronto and is a semi-news anchor. I say semi, because their news is third rate. It's like listening to a university radio show - it's so local it's a joke.

The internet has basically eroded the purpose for the Score's original existence as a rolling ticker for sports. Who can bear to sit around hoping for their team's score or highlights to roll around once every 30 minutes at unpredictable intervals?
