I like Guinness every day of the year. All stouts for that matter. I feel bad for people that can't appreciate the true beauty that is stout.
This is a really good one: http://www.ratebeer.com/beer/st-ambr...eal-stout/839/ |

I found St-Ambroise felt really watery, from the bottle at least. It really detracted from it for me.
I actually like Big Rock's Black Amber "Ale". I also like Imperial Stouts.

Why in the hell do North Americans call it St. Patty's Day? It's Paddy's Day! Annoys the hell out of me. A patty is something you put on a bun, Paddy is short for Patrick.
Can't stand the day. Bunch of dudes drinking green beer and pretending they're from my country? No thanks.

In related news, an Irish buddy of mine let me know it is a really really really bad idea to call it an "Irish Car Bomb" when you want a shot of Jameson's and Bailey's dropped into Guinness should you be around Irish people. You all call it a Paddy shot or something like that, yeah?

I don't think the drink actually exists in Ireland, but yeah, the name is really offensive, for obvious reasons.

So how was everyone's St. Patty's Day?(I'm calling it that from now on haha) Wow what a gongshow. I was in Edmonton at a bar on Jasper called the Druid, got a little messy. Ended up having an altercation with a manager over the Flames game haha. They had every TV on some soccer game, and I asked if he could flip it, at least just one TV(they have like 20 in there). He was being a huge dusche and I think was also a little sauced, he told me to buy him a Guinness and he'd put it on. I said "So you'll for sure put it on if I get you a beer?", and he said ya.
So I get him his beer, and low and behold 20min later he still had it on the soccer game(gay-ass Oiler fans). I went up to him and asked him why and he was just giving me this cocky smile. Haha I was so drunk, I just kept saying "We had a gentlemen's agreement! You're not a man". Then he told me to get down and kiss his knee and he'd think about it, so I gave him a bit of a shove and told him to go f*** himself. Haha then I quickly found the boyz and said I just pushed a manager, we gotta get out of here. It was so busy I don't think any of the bouncers saw it, thank Christ. Unbelieveable, that's the kind of BS I have to deal with up here in stinktown.

On the bonus though, after we left my buddy realized he left his coat in there and had to go back in, and when he came out again he said every channel was on the Flames game. So if you were there and watched the end of the game, you know who to thank haha. Anyone else got some stories from last night? haha I love hearing stories from when people were dummied.

I had to run interference for my buddy while he tried to get with some pierced red head last night. She had an equally hot friend but I am in no way interested in the metal detector chicks. Other than that it was a fine green beer day - WE WON - fck yah!

Nope, the MYK standards are many years in the making.
 Pierced Lip = FAIL
 Pierced eyebrow = FAIL
Tatoo above ass larger then clenched fist = FAIL
 Implants = FAIL
 Tatoo on arms = FAIL.

 She had 4/5 = FAIL.

Like I said, other than that she was quite attractive and we meshed well. Not sure if my buddy won last night - he ran interference for me in Jamaica so eventually I knew I had to return the favor because metal detector red heads are his cryptonite - last night was it.

My buddies call it "jumping on the grenade" haha. btw I totally agree with your call. I don't think I have quite as hard a line as you, but ya that stuff you mentioned is a big turn-off for sure.

Times like St. Pats is when I really wish I didn't have a girlfriend. Maybe its because I don't really go to the bar too much anymore, but damn were there some hotties last night! I love when girls get all Irish'd out for St. Pats, with the green shirts and that curly ringlet hair.

EDIT: Just had poo #3 of the day already(I'm broken today). The first two weren't green, and the third one was extremely green. Hahaha wtf??? I heart St. Patty's Day...
