The flip side of course is what is your most hated drink - for me its Zambuka - had a bad experience with it.

Tequila for me. Seems I get sick off it every time I have it nowadays. But also, I only seem to indulge when I've had a lot to drink already, and have no more concerns...and it always pushes me over the edge!

Any kind of rum and coke..........
White rum, dark rum, spiced rum, whatever. Just give me a rum and coke.
Worst drink: tequila. Tried to like it, just can't. Even one shot of it nearly makes me sick.

Stoli straight up is fantastic.
A really great vodka drink is a moscow mule: ginger beer, vodka, and lemon on ice. Also great with a bit of goldschlager.
For scotches, I really like Talisker.
I like a good bourbon, but so many bourbons out there are really crappy. There's one, I think it's called Woodford's Reserve that is nice and not terribly expensive.

I have a really particular G&T drink order when I go out and order one:
-double gin & tonic, Bombay (preferably), in a short glass, pressed, with a lime wedge
Mouthwatering.
As for wines, I found a really, really nice Chilean temprnillo that is less than $15. Santa Rita I want to say? Can't remember off hand. But temprnillo is good stuff.

If you are drinking on a hang over vanilla Smirnov and Sprite is a good one.
Vodka in anything is my choice. I used to drink dark rum all the time but the hangovers were killing me. Lately I'm enjoying vodka and cranberry ginger ale.

Don't have a hands down favorite (besides beer) as when I get creative I always like to try new stuff, but The Mortal Coil has to be hands down the best martini bar in the city and I love their creations!

Rye guy,but make it a strong rye,my bro brought back a 40 pounder of the best ,Crown Royal, from the states. I zoomed right thru it with coke.
Never tasted anything but the coke.
Hurt like hell the next morning for drinking less than half.Too quick.Too easy.
Give me a rye I can taste.

Rye and coke is always good.
A nice ceaser.
For a cultured drink I kinda like glenfiddich, the 16 year is especially nice. my regular whisky would be walker black label.

And my foreign drink: Baijiou specfically Luzhou LaoJiao mmmmm

Jagermeister is always good. Couple others have already been mentioned...
|
Jager??? Blech. I swear that's the main ingredient in Green Nyquil.
|
Yeah yeah, i've heard all the anti-Jager claptrap in the book . You guys just cant handle it's smooth, sweet Jager taste, heheh...
On a side note, I heard a rumour there is as much fat content in a single shot of Jagermeister as there is in one Big Mac. If this is true, it kind of explains alot. In any case, does anyone know for sure? [/b][/quote]
I'm thinking probably not.
Seriously man think about it. Jag is a liqueur made up of alcohol, water and a bunch of hergs for flavour. Where the hell would the fat come from. The only alcohol that would have fat in it would be anything with cream, like baileys. On a side note, a big mac has 30 g of fat and Jag is (I'm guessing, i've drank enoguth of it so you'd think I know) 35% alc/vol. For estimation purposes, we'll assume that fat/alcolol/water have the same density.
So in a 1.5oz shot (45 ml), you've got ~45g of liquid (using water as the base density). So if 35% of that is alcohol (15.75g), that leaves only29.25g of liquid left. So even if Jag contained any fat at all, and even if it was made completlely of alcohol and fat. No, it would be impossible for it to have a higher fat content than a big mac.

I love Smirnoff Ice. Vodka and 7Up. The black current Absolut Vodka with the new citrus 7Up is superb....rye and coke, rye and ginger ale....chocolate martinis....Southern Comfort is OK on occassion.
I think I have a drinking problem.

Red Wine. Shiraz is one of my favourites. Cabernet Sauvignon a good 2nd choice.
Tequila. Only the expensive stuff.

Same. Well, not the bad experience. But I absolutely hate black licorice and the stuff is just too sweet anyways. Sweet drinks have a tendency not to stay in my stomach in large quantities.

Ahhh memories. Slamming back cheap tequila shooters and chasing them with zambooka on new year's eve. Good times.

Absinthe.
The real stuff; not any low percentage fake garbage that was passed off as authentic despite having levels as low as 45%.
One reason I like it is because it can take the edge off any week no matter how stressful it may have been.
The other reason I like it is that it takes some gumption to drink an alcohol so notorious that it is banned in several countries.

Another fantastic drink is the Jager Bomb. It's made like a gladiator (dumbest dring ever), but instead of amaretto you use Jager, and instead of orange juice you use Red Bull. If there was ever a better beat the hangover/get started at 10:00 am drink I don't want to know about it.

Which of the imported ones do you find are the best? All I can ever find are the czech ones like Hills which taste kinda foul to me, or the Pernod one which tastes, well, a little too much like Pernod. I really like Spanish absinthe with it's slight lemony flavour, but I haven't been able to find any in stores.
