The biggest thing is forgetting the hole and concentrating on the spot you need to hit to get it in the hole. It is very rare where you are actually aiming to die it into the hole.

Also on your first time out this season don't try and remember all these things I told you. Go out and practice on the range these things and find a pre-shot routine that works for you. That alone will help you with your overall game and before you know it you won't even be thinking about looking for a spot you will just do it.

I could honestly go on all day about this stuff. We need to do a CP golf tourny!
Now THAT would be great. I'd be in for sure, especially if it was held on the weekend! With enough advance notice I would even be able to participate if it was held during the week.

Plus... if its really hot and sunny out you can put up the umbrella attachment and walk the course in the shade.
Umbrella? I prefer a cold beer as a way to cool off. That and more opportunities to visit with the hot looking gal on the beverage cart

^^^^ Last year I bought one of those large soft sided cooler bags. Holds a 12 pack plus ice. .... I bought it just for those days that I know I'm going to rent a power cart. Mmmmmm .....cold beer .... and lots of it.

My carry bag has an insulated pocket on it that beer fits into perfectly... Love it although I rarely carry my clubs now

The last time I drank on the golf course I only lasted 17 holes.

I went out with 3 friends where the person that won the hole, or the people that tied for winning the hole, had to take a shot of Jager to level out of the playing field or at least we thought.

I was by far the best player and even though I took a shot 8 of the first 9 holes somehow I ended up birding holes 10 & 11, did I mention you had to take 2 shots on a birdie?

End of story my day ended with me laying on the 18th tee box yelling at 80 year old couples on the 3rd tee box. Wish I remember what about.
