I remember whenever i went trick or treating with my buds, whenever we unloaded our candy at whoevers house we were at, we would have a masive oh henry fight because no one wanted to eat them.. and then we added gumballs and it ended with a broken tv.

I'm going to a friends Halloween party that night but was planning on stopping at a few houses for some candy.
Is it so bad if a 20+ year old asks for Candy? Or should I scoop some little boy off the street and take him a long?

Was supposed to be giving out Reese's buttercups, Oh Henry!, Caramilk and Crispy Crunch, but the boxes are dwindling by the day. At this rate, I doubt they even make it to Halloween. So probably raisins. I'll be that guy.

One disconcerting thing last year was this 16 year old girl (I'm guessing - she was older than most trick-or-treaters), going door to door alone, dressed as a cheerleader came to my door and said that she was really thirsty and wanted to come in for a glass of water. I had already reached out with the pop to hand to her and she said "Oh, perfect. Thank you." and left. But I was like, girl, you're 16, dressed in a short skirt and you are inviting yourself into a strangers home? Oi.

I eat candy corn but only a few before its too much. My favorite Halloween candy is Smarties. Not the chocolate Smarties, but the sugary ones here in the States.
The only Halloween candy I buy is the candy I don't like. So I'll be handing out Butterfinger and Almond Joy this year.

What are helicopter parents?? If it's really cold I could see why people might want to go to the mall instead of outside.
I haven't bought any candy yet. Whatever Safeway still has left on Saturday afternoon is what we will give out.  I'm more excited to take my baby around the cul-de-sac in her costume than to give out the candy!

Yeah I used to help run those indoor Halloween parties - I did a few at Sunridge Mall, its a nice idea for little tiny kids who can't stand the cold for long but it takes the fun out of running to houses in the cold and checking out your loot in your pillow case.
