The only movieI have ever clapped at the end was the new Star Trek.

I don't think we hate clappers... but rather, trying to grasp the idea of why they clap.

And seriously, you guys have NOT experienced clapping when the flight lands??? The most recent was actually July 3rd from Ottawa to Calgary, people were clapping when it landed... I've been on long distance overseas flights and nobody claps when it lands...

There was a pretty good applause when our plane touched down in Hawaii last Christmas. But it was more for relieving the frustrations of being over 24 hours delayed because Vancouver airport is absolutely incapable of dealing with snow.
