It must be a hell of alot warmer down in the C-spot than it is up here in Deadmonton. The forecast shows highs of no wamer than -21 for the next two weeks straight. You couldn't get me on an outdoor rink right now if you paid me.

ok .. well if you go with private ice and one poster said it cost 85 an hr last year , and im sure you guys would want to play for a couple hours that would 170 bucks...... so the price to play if we had 10 guys show up would be 17 bucks a piece???

I'll phone fish creek arena tomorrow, they're usually good for some short notice, discounted ice time.

I'd rather play outside down to -10C; lower than that, then indoors is better.

Fish Creek? 22X? Not to sound like im complaining but I live in Airdrie now and since there is beer involved, thats quite the drive for a couple hours of stick.. Also, with the indoor rinks, drinking is a bit of a problem... no?
Is there anyone else that lives in the north that would prefer a more central location? If im the only one, then I would of course comprimise but if there are a few of us then it maybe more tough..
I say we have a poll for indoor/outdoor and north/south/central.

Don Hartman is the only arena you can't drink in. As for location, I'm down for anywhere really, but live in the SW if we're making it a poll.

If you play outside you can play with contact and bodycheck your fellow puckers into snow drifts.
Think about it....
