Didn't she hint at him possibly being a son? I don't know I kind of missed it too.

She said she could give him what all sons wanted from their mothers, love, attention, inspiration, he yells, "you're not my mother" and she said something like, "oh, but I am".

Linderman... Nathan... Nikki.... doesn't anyone actually die in this show? I guess only big contract demands are the only way off the show...
(I was happy to see Nikki again though)
Secretly, I was hoping that Suresh would get some completely nerdy and useless power after all that technobabble. Like Mystery Men. Typing at 800 wpm would have worked out nicely.

I think when it comes to Hiro v. Ando it's not a case of one turning evil - just both of them doing what they think is the right thing. If anything I bet it's Hiro that takes the wrong path.

Wow. totally not impressed. Still unbelievable how this show can go from an awesome first season to utter crap in season 2 and 3. No more nissan cars or sprint phones for me!
Are you kidding me with Suresh? I guess Nikki isn't the only schizo on the show. What were the writers thinking?

I'll give it a couple more weeks to see where things are going but in general I wasn't impressed. They need less of the Suresh character not more! He's a terribly stupid character and I really can't watch that guy act.

Yeah - thought it was weak.
Claire was hot in the future, spicy outfit.
Parkman... that's weird.
I really like the girl whose dad died that Ms. Patrelli fired. Mmmm..
The rest of the show... bleh...
Actually Mexican is kinda hot, despite being annoying. also looks like her chest was done for season 3 - or is that a power?
And glad Nicky is back, but don't understand it. Ice? Okay....
Hot chicks can only keep me interested in a show for so long. better pick it up.

Suresh put Molly on a plane and sent her somewhere.....that's his first line of dialogue in the show this season I beleive.

Oh and someone above mentioned the 4400, that's all i could think about whenever I saw Suresh with the needle. What a lame subplot. Seriously, he didn't act like that at all before. He was all about helping people, then he went right to wanting "an ability (4400)"

If you were searching for a way to help people and you stumble upon a Superhero needle, you would be at least tempted to use it? If I knew it was 100% safe, I probably would.

Clearly wasn't 100% safe.
Suresh is such an idiot in so very many ways.

My guess is that, that person isn't really Ando and its someone impersonating him, Syler, Peter, who knows. Could be anyone.

Odd seeing Sylar as possibly a good guy now with the escapees being the new enemy.
|
I thought we saw Sylar in the future leading all those escapees?
Agreed that we need more main characters without powers. Now that Suresh and (apparently) Ando have powers, are there any normal main characters?

I thought the premiere was better than the entire second season, but still thought it was rather disjointed and overwhelming. There was so much to keep track of throughout and so many characters.
I like Future Peter. All those powers and such, he's awesome. I like his mom too. She's just intriguing. She just keeps dropping little tidbits to make her interesting. You know she knows what is happening, but isn't showing her cards. It's great.
I still don't like Claire. I think I just don't like the actress that plays her. I don't think she's very good.
Is Elle sticking around? It said that Kristin Bell was a guest star, but is she sticking around for awhile or only going to be in a couple episodes? If she sticks around, I hope they manage to write her a little better. The whole "I need to make daddy proud" thing they milked last season and in the premiere is tired.
I had totally forgotten about the "emo crying girl," as we dubbed her last season. I was hoping she'd get killed off, I still am. Though now that she is wearing the tight low cut tanktops and is seemingly more endowed, I am sure some of the menfolk have changed their minds about her.
I third the idea that not everyone should have powers for the reason mentioned, that it detracts from the show. I thought it was pretty hokey when they made it seem like all you need to gain a power is an injection. But I guess it wasn't that easy, as Suresh started shedding or something.
So... Is it Nikki and she doesn't know she's Nikki (she has memory loss or something) or is it really not Nikki? I thought that was confusing.

I think I'm echoing some posts already here, but man those first two episodes were a little off the wall. I liked the show the past two seasons, but it seems as ratings were going down they needed to go in a completely different direction. Seems like there's too big a gap between what happened at the end of last season and what's happening now.

i think they're throwing so many plot lines at the viewer because they want everyone to forgot about how awful season 2 was and start thinking about season 3.
