It really is too bad that we don't live bubbles... then we wouldn't have to worry about what anyone else does anywhere else.

But since we don't, and since the greatest atrocities occur/have occured when people do nothing or choose to ignore situations, I'm content with intervention ideology, be it diplomatically, economically or militarily if necessary.
