i almost died

last year in Trinidad went fishing with 4 friends in a very small boat,we were about a mile from shore when we were swamped by rought seas and began to sink.The outboard motor stalled,and we had to ditch into the water and bail the water out from the outside.thankfully the boat resurfaced(think it was because it was fibreglass) we had to paddle against the current back to shore.ended up paddling to an oil tanker jetty,where the oil company sent their guards to arrest us as they thought we were venezuelan pirates lol..Did end up catching one fish in my pants pocket but lost a digi cam.and i swear and 2 of my friends can back me up when i say this..i saw a circle of light around the boat while we were paddling.can look back now and laugh though.

[Five-hole]

I was in a rollover on Highway 2 at 110km/h. We hit a patch of ice and went off the road, then headed straight for the train tracks on that little hill-bunker thing. We flipped after we hit that. How all three of us walked away without a scratch continues to mystify me.

The bizarre thing is we were on our way home from Lethbridge for my grandfather's funeral. My dad thinks he was still around long enough to save us. My dad's about the least superstitious/religious/paranormal guy you'll ever meet, too, but he's sure of that one.
