The classic rye and coke.
I'm also big on tequila shots.

One of my pet peeves is when I order a martini and the server asks if I want vodka or gin.
Uhh...
I ordered a martini, not a vodka martini.

Anyone ever try this stuff called "Coquila"? I had it years ago. I remember drinking it on the golf course and at Eskimo games.
I rarely drink, but if I do, just regular rye and coke. Crown Royal or Gibson's.

I also have to give a nod to my favorite liqueur...B&B. It's a bit obscure but usually stocked at most establishments. It's a mix of Brandy and Benedictine (hence the B&B even though the Brandy is technically Cognac). In any case, it is a strong liqueur but with an incredibly sweet and subtly spicy flavor. There's no touch of the harshness or bitterness usually associated with strong liqueurs. I've been on a mission to gradually establish a following for B&B. The overwhelming majority who try it with me quickly find B&B to be a new favorite. Wonderful for special occassions (like after Flames road wins).
For this who wish to try, ask for a B&B warmed up in a snifter. Your server may not know what it is but the bartender usually will.

I've done that before. It isnt nearly as good as one would think.
Vodka and Red Bull really screws with you though.
