Displaced Flames Fan,

I mean denouncing something on a message board is a pretty empty gesture.

I mean read half the posts on this thing, people lie through their teeth aboot who they are and what they've done, you don't think people are a little braver with what they speak out against something on a message board?

it's like yelling at a freight train.

makes you look like a moron but luckily no one will really notice.
So because condemning something on a messageboard is somewhat emptier than doing it in 'the real world' all those who condemn things on a messageboard are ***holes and morons?

So there should never be a condemnation on an internet messageboard. Period.

What world do you live in?

Let's see one, I'll join you in condemning such behavior....will you join me in condemning actions like this? So far, I haven't seen it. [/b][/quote]

If you'll kindly re-read my first post in this thread I did not TELL you what to condemn....I asked if you WOULD condemn it.

Thanks for going ballistic anyway.

And for the record....you're the guy telling people what they should be condemning in the second post in this thread!

Unbelievable!

Wow.

It's as much telling people what they SHOULD be condemning as my post was telling you that you should condemn something else. Same thing AT BEST from your side.

BTW...as for putting words in your mouth, you did in fact call me both an ***hole and moron....and now you've called me stupid as well. Those were your words.

i did call you stupid, but the rest is kinda metaphorical or something.

actually it's kind of funny, imagining someone out there being p*ssed enough.

i mean, who's more intimidating than someone who's cool and forceful enough to condemn somthing on a message board?

gives me something to do i guess

So back to the question then....

No condemnations on messageboards because it's moronic and stupid? Is that what you are trying to get across?

"Cool and forceful enough'? Oooooooh the sarcasm. The insults just keep coming.

Takes a big man to call someone a moron and an ***hole on a messageboard too doesn't it? Or do you find that name calling and insults aren't empty on messageboards? Only condemnations are empty and moronic, but name calling and insults are legitimate, genuine and heartfelt forms of communication?

and ditto for you.

You should also keep in mind that just because it enrages some of us when 30 innocent, vacationing Jews are blown up....or when a bus full of women and children are blown up in Jerusalem, it doesn't mean we aren't equally enraged when an innocent Palestinian is killed in retalliatory operations.

BTW...what weaponry do Jewish settlers possess that would allow them to use children miles away as target practice? Just curious.

Jewish settlers are notoriously well-armed. They're basically soldier-citizens due to the volatile environment in which they're expanding the Israeli state. Not uncommon for each settler household to have several weapons. Also, they'd likely all have military training from Israel or their former Eastern Euro (if that's where they're from) country.

Just an observation.

Makes sense. But it would take more than a good sniper rifle to be shooting at something miles away. Mortars?

Again, I don't know what they have.
