Not say that at all. Go and read through the chronology and you'll see where the cat and mouse game was played and how Hussein prevented the inspections, then relented in short order, usually giving up more information than was expected. That was his way of saving face with the arab countries. He had to be seen as a strongman, willing to stand up to the UN, and he did that. The media reported the first part of the story (Iraq stonewalling) but failed to report the follow up where the weapons and information was destroyed. That is just standard operating procedure for the press. They splash crap on TV screen, right or wrong, and then forget about the story as it continues to develop. I don't blame you for not knowing that Iraq was complying, the media rarely reported that where the Gameboy Generation would find it.
So go back, do some reading and educate yourself junior. You can take your new knowledge and wow the rest of the hayseeds, er "intelligence community", at Pincher Creek junior high tomorrow.
