Looks like A City By The Divided Light is to be released May 2, 2006. Originally supposed to be a double disc the band has 16 songs and likes 12 of them. Or so rumor has it..

I’m awaiting David Gilmour’s March 6th birthday release of “On An Island” I’m really excited about the release of the album after the In Concert DVD that was put out a little while ago. And judging from the Christmas Island Jam he leaked out on Christmas day and the latest song that’s been on the air waves, it’s just what was hoping for.

As for Queensryche, I had the un-pleasure of hearing a pretty bad cover of Comfortably Numb and have never been able to get past it to give them a second listen… I've heard others talk well of them but I just didn't hear what they were talking about that time

I am super excited for the new Audioslave and RHCP releases this spring and summer, I cant wait to hear what Flea and Tim Commerford (some of today's best rock bassists) have come up with, they are both amazing musicians and I am really looking forward to hearing some new stuff from them.
