I was just taking a peruse through section 2a of the charter(as one does on a Monday morning with a hot coffee) and found this interesting.

Is this essentially ruling that something like wearing a cross has no charter protections? Or would it only be the public display of? So you can wear a hidden cross, but not openly display it.
